Coach Rhodes to me means preserverence. My story about coach Rhodes is not really a story it's more like a significant time in my life. All throughout my high school career coach Rhodes has trained me helped me and just all together made me a better person. I first really started to get to know coach Rhodes during track season. If you know anything about coach Rhodes than you know that he is a track and field fanatic, he loves shoes and most of all he loves his students. He taught me not only how to compete but how to keep pushing when times are hard. he taught me how to be a man with adversity, and that when you feel like theirs not much out their for you someone can come along and just pick totally change your mind and pick you up when your down. The words of coach Rhodes "Its a great day to be a Bobcat." Now tonight we will be facing the Friona Chieftons and I wouldn't trade my coaches for nothing. I feel great going any where with coach Rhodes leading.

" Thank You Coach"

Scooby Doooby Doo!!!!

So their were these five best friends, Shawn, Billy, Jaci, Shelby and of course Paul. They all went throughout high school solving mysteries together just like scooby doo. And before they knew it, it was already time to go to college. Shawn and Billy both had their whole highschool sweet heart thing, and jaci well she was with Vance. Of course Shelby liked to play the field, and Paul just really wasn't good enough for anybody. Billy got college letters almost every day for football, and Shawn was sure that he was going to South Plains to be a welder, Shelby wanted more than anything to go to tech. Basically we were all going our separate directions. But anyways they went throughout their whole lives just solving all these mysteries and being best friends and all until one day it was time to get our tickets out of childress, "diploma" we were all so excited we didn't even know what to do. So we walked up on stage one by one and grabbed our little scrolls and walked off with happiness. But I was more sad than anything and felt like their was something I needed to say. Like their was something missing. But something was holding me back; I just couldn't bring myself to say it. Like every other senior graduating we through a big party and that was the last time we were all together again. unfortunatly for Paul he never got to tell this girl how he really felt. Their were plenty times he could have but he never did. Well three weeks into the summer he was sent off to basic training with the United States Marine core, and within the next year he found himself being ambushed in the center of Iraq with no way out......All that was left of him was a letter folded neatly in his boot, covered in dirt and blood, the letter was for J***

Homecoming 2009

My Best homecoming memory is my first date in like 7th grade. It was my first like real actual date. That's pretty much the only reason its my best memory, because it was a blow out game, the girl I was with really wasn't that pretty, and my mom and dad were both sent to jail that night. But I still think tonight will be even better. I just know for a fact that tonight will be one of the best nights of my life.

p.s. Its football weather!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you know that the swine flue doesn't even come from pigs? ha well its true, infact their not even exactly sure what the swine flue comes from yet. Some say misquitos others say it comes from bats, and stuff. But nobody really knows, what do you think? I think they probably came from misquitos. But the thing that gets me the most is how many people it has killed. Hundreds of Americans have been killed from this flue, yet still no vaccination. I don't know much about this swine flue but I sure hope someday soon that they will find a vaccination for it.
